One of the Spheres of Spirituality is that of energy healing and energy awareness in the body. During this episode, Nancy will discuss the history of this worldwide practice which dates back thousands of years and can be found in civilizations from ancient Egypt, to Persia, to the Essenes, to China, and to Greece, to name a few. Nancy will explain the body’s energy pathways and energy centers, known as chakras, and their purpose. But of course, the orbs have a purpose in all of this, too!

Are you a person looking for more magic in your life? Do you believe that a connection to the spirit realm is only for a select few? We are ALL capable and even meant to have our own relationship and communication with the divine. We just need to look around with new eyes and unencumbered expectations and limitations. During this show, Nancy will take you along on her spiritual adventure of discovery, step by step, to show you what is possible, what awaits us, and the magic that surrounds us now if we begin to use and focus with our spiritual eyes.

Nancy’s path began with orb photography, but she soon discovered that there are many spheres of knowledge along a spiritual path to be discovered. Spiritual awareness is not one-dimensional nor limited to one “specialty.” The many spheres of spirit overlap, intermingle, support, lead, educate, and enlighten us. If we care to expand our knowledge and personal experiences with faith in what can be, we will open up to the wonderful world we have always hoped for but thought was unattainable. During this show, we will explore these spheres through casual and down-to-earth discussions of the everyday magic and wisdom of the Spirit surrounding us.

After a full, spontaneous awakening of kundalini in 1979, Penny Kelly quit her job as an engineer for the Chrysler Corporation to study the brain, consciousness, intelligence, intuition, and cognition. She then worked with biophysicist Dr. William Leven good for 15 years studying materials from crop circles and animal mutilations, and researching plasma, energy and consciousness.

Penny holds a degree in Humanistic Studies from Wayne State University, and a degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Clayton College of Natural Health. She maintains a worldwide counselling, coaching, and teaching practice, and is the co-writer, editor, and author and publisher of over 30 books, including The Evolving Human, Robes – A Book of Coming Changes, and several volumes on Consciousness and Energy. The mind-body problem is the ultimate intractable enigma. How can we – being complex physical systems – have multicolored experiences, and make conscious choices?

My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Peter Ells, has a long-standing interest in the Hard Problem of consciousness: specifically in explaining, in a manner compatible with science, the facts that we have qualitative experiences, such as pains or the taste of wine, and are moreover free agents. He has given talks at international Quantum Mind conferences: he spoke on Naturalistic, Libertarian Free Will in Tucson; and on Panpsychism in Salzburg, Austria. He also presented a poster on Mental Causation at a Toward a Science of Consciousness conference in Tucson. Peter lives in Oxford and has an MA in Philosophy from the University of Reading.
