In 1944, Author W. Somerset Maugham published his novel, The Razor’s Edge. His title was taken from the Katha-Upanishad, one of the great Hindu scriptures, and specifically from the quote, “”The sharp edge of a razor is difficult to pass over; thus the wise say the path to Salvation is hard.”
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Cara Bradley, lived her own version of this thought…and found insight and inspiration that transformed her life and the lives of those she has shared her insights with. Cara is a passionate teacher of yoga, meditation, and fitness who has been in the trenches of personal transformation as a “mental strength coach” for more than three decades at her Verge Yoga Center, retreats, corporate training sessions, and with teams such as Villanova University and Penn State. Her website is CaraBradley.net and she joins me this week to discuss her new book, On the Verge, Wake Up, Show Up, and Shine.

Welcome to the debut of “Destination Unlimited.” With all of the heavy news in the world right now, how about skipping back to something we loved to do as kids….skipping! My guest, Kim “Skipper” Corbin is a social media manager/book publicist by day and passionate promoter of the joy of skipping by night. She created the iSkip.com website in 1999 when she started skipping as an adult and decided to invite the rest of the world to join her.
When the national media, including USA Today, Time, People, and CNN, shared the skipping story, she quickly realized she was not alone. Fellow skippers from around the globe volunteered to join the cause, making her dream of starting a worldwide skipping movement a reality. Kim has been celebrating the accomplishments of the skipping community on iSkip ever since. Learn about the joys of skipping and please don’t skip this debut show!
