Fresco – who was featured in the documentary — was a visionary futurist and designer dedicated to a “peaceful and sustainable global civilization”. We are pleased to welcome as our guest on Wiki Politiki this week, Jacque Fresco’s partner and co-founder of the Venus Project, Roxanne Meadows. With Fresco, Ms. Meadows has also been featured in radio, television, documentaries, and film festivals. Starting in 1985, Ms. Meadows supplied architectural renderings, models and design work to major developers and architects throughout the U.S. As president and founder of Architectural Arts Inc., her clients have included: Disney Development Corp., Trump Towers Tampa, The Lutgert Companies, Westinghouse Communities, and Santiesteban & Associates Architects. Ms. Meadows is well-known for her accomplishments in scale model production work, scientific, technical, medical, and architectural illustrations, as well as architectural design. She taught technical and fine arts and has worked as a professional computer animator. In pursuit of other interests, she is also a licensed private pilot.

Stephan Schwartz – How To Change History – BEFORE It Happens

When sane and reverent people look at our current political, ecological “shituation”, it is understandable if they ask, “Is this the hand of God at work – or just the Middle Finger”?
Our guest on Wiki Politiki this week, Stephan A. Schwartz – who has spent a lifetime delving into physical and metaphysical reality – offers a deep perspective on the challenges we face individually, collectively and indeed as a species as we address the key questions for transformation: What’s so? So what? Now what?
Stephan A. Schwartz is an award-winning author of fiction and non-fiction, a columnist for the journal Explore, and editor of the daily web publication Schwartzreport.net – where he covers trends that are affecting the future. He is a Distinguished Consulting Faculty of Saybrook University, and a BIAL fellow. His other academic and research appointments include: Senior Samueli Fellow for Brain, Mind and Healing of the Samueli Institute; founder and Research; Director of the Mobius laboratory; Director of Research of the Rhine Research Center; and Senior Fellow of The Philosophical Research Society. (And I can add from meeting him in person, he is a Jolly Good Fellow as well.) He has also worked with the US Navy as Special Assistant for Research and Analysis to the Chief of Naval Operations, and consultant to the Oceanographer of the Navy.
For 40 years he has been studying the nature of consciousness, particularly that aspect independent of space and time. Schwartz is part of the small group that founded modern Remote Viewing research, and is the principal researcher studying the use of Remote Viewing in archaeology.
His current work is exemplified by his daily Schwartz Report. He writes:

Victor Tiffany – Bernie Or Bust: Will Berniecrats “Bust” the DNC?

In the wake of Hillary’s DOA campaign for President in 2016, there were two conflicting “autopsy” reports. Those who supported Bernie maintain that Hillary was such a turn off that many disgusted young voters stayed home, voted for Jill Stein, or even switched teams to vote for Trump. (Yes, I do know some who voted for Bernie in the primaries, Trump in the general election.)
Then there are the Hillary supporters who are enraged at those who failed to rally behind Hillary, laying the atrocities of the Trump regime squarely at the feet of the “Bernie or bust” crowd.
Maybe instead of asking, “Who’s right?” we might want to ask, “What’s wrong?”
Berniecrats maintain that the 2016 election was a forum on the status q uo, and Hillary and neoliberalism represented the status quo that put 40% of Americans one paycheck away from financial disaster, and put the middle class on the endangered species list. These people maintain that Bernie could have and would have won in 2016, because he offered a welcome change. He stood for something, and he actually activated a movement. He represented those of us who were fed up with the corporatocracy and oligarchy.
And now, as we get ready for the 2020 primaries … the Bernie or Bust folks are out in full force. Our guest this week, Victor Tiffany, who calls himself a political revolutionary literally wrote the book on Bernie or bust … in fact the book is called “Bernie Or Bust: Pioneers of Electoral Revolt” and lays out what he calls IRIS (Independent Revolutionary Integrated Strategy) that explains why some key groups of voters would vote for Bernie, but not recycled Hillary, like Biden – or even Elizabeth Warren (who incidentally endorsed Hillary during the 2016 primaries).
Victor has an MA in the Social Sciences from Binghamton University, was active in the nuclear freeze campaign in the 1980s, and after the Citizens United v FEC decision he became active in the movement to amend the Constitution to overturn that and all related decisions. He became senior columnist for the Amendment Gazette, and wrote for the Syracuse (NY) Progressive Examiner. While studying the illegitimate Supreme Court decisions that granted the rights of individuals to associations and established the doctrine that money spent on electioneering is protected by the First Amendment, he became aware of how far from the Framers’ vision the United States has become. He resides in Danby, NY.
While most Democrats I talk to – and even some Republicans –say the most important goal of the 202o election is to remove Trump and Trumpism from office, Victor maintains that electing Bernie is more important than stopping Trump.

Josh Fox – The Truth Has Changed

If you’ve heard or used the word “fracking” in recent months or years, you have filmmaker Josh Fox to thank. His award-winning film Gasland (2010) exposed the “gaslighting” by the fossil fuel companies in their attempt to sell “fracking” — defined as “the process of injecting liquid at high pressure into subterranean rocks, boreholes, etc. so as to force open existing fissures and extract oil or gas.”
Fox’s claims that fracking polluted ground water and caused earthquakes made him the target of a $100 million smear campaign on the part of the gas industry. Writes Josh, “This campaign of misinformation and slander was run by people we have heard quite a bit about in recent times: Steve Bannon, Andrew Breitbart, James O’Keefe and others.”
And what Steve Bannon and company did to Josh from 2010-2015, he did to the whole American electorate in 2016. Josh Fox was the beta test for the types of propaganda and smear the gang that created Cambridge Analytica is now known for worldwide. And Josh is telling his story in an uncompromising way like never before through a new film “The Truth Has Changed.”
Unlike most documentaries, “The Truth Has Changed” is the film version of a live performance by Josh relating how his personal story intertwines with America since 9/11. And, he and his team have created a crowd-funding campaign to support grassroots screenings and rallies to educate the public not just about fracking, but about the lengths the fossil fuel industry and their “fiends in high places” will go to destroy both the free press and democracy.
Josh Fox is best known as the Oscar-nominated, Emmy-winning writer/director of GASLAND, Parts I and II. Earlier this year he was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a great honor for any filmmaker. He is internationally recognized as a spokesperson and leader on the issue of fracking and extreme energy development. His film How to Let Go of the World and Love All the Things Climate Can’t Change premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016, won the Environmental Advocacy Award at the Washington DC Environmental Film Festival, and was released on HBO. As the Founder and Artistic Director of International WOW Company, Fox has established himself as a significant force in New York theatre. His work for the stage includes Surrender, an interactive war epic that was nominated for a 2009 Drama Desk Award and AUTO DA FE. The performance premiered in New York and toured to Japan in 2011.

Ready or not, 5G is here.
5G stands for “fifth generation cellular technology” which promises to deliver data rates that are 10 to 100 times faster than current 4G. Not only does this mean much faster download rates, but 5G will also enable new technologies like self-driving cars and augmented reality. Mobile devices will be able to send and receive information in less than one-thousandth of a second, appearing instantaneous to the user.
Wow. Faster internet, faster downloads on our smart phones … Fast, fast, fast.
Well … not so fast, say some concerned citizens and scientists. As with cell phones, the radiation from this 5G technology is being linked to higher cancer rates. The cell phone providers and mainstream media insist all is safe, and there is no problem. Are they correct? Or is this just another issue where those with much to gain are railroading an untested technology?
Our guest this week Michael LeVesque, is a long-time health advocate, who opened his first health food store in Cortez, Colorado nearly fifty years ago. In 1982, he opened Vitamin Express, running five stores for 36 years. He is the author of the best-selling “BIG Vitamin Dictionary,” and has spent the past several years studying wireless technology and the “human voltage system”. Michael is a self-taught expert on EMF (electromagnetic field) radiation and their impact on the human body, and is the owner of Ray Guard Protect, a device to protect against EMF exposure.
So … is the cause for concern regarding 5G for real? Or is it just a bunch of conspiracy theorist, anti-science alarmists raining on the parade? Or something somewhere in between?

For most of us when we think of “leadership” – unless we identify as a “leader” – generally think of somebody else out there. And now at a time when dissatisfaction with our “leaders” is at an all-time high, we might consider that leadership must now evolve to activating many different varieties of leadership talents.
Our guests on Wiki Politiki this week, Karen and Henry Kimsey-House, have spent the past three decades coaching and teaching leadership that “harnesses the possibility of many rather than relying on the power of one.”

One of the earliest recognized luminaries in the coaching profession, Karen Kimsey-House co-founded Co-Active Training Institute in 1992 with Laura Whitworth and her future husband, Henry. To many Americans, the 2016 election was a traumatic event.
The first gathering I attended that November was at a church in San Jose, where Mexican Americans expressed fearful concern about the disruption in their community, and the potential danger of being singled out and marginalized. Others – people of color, the LGBT community, women, those concerned about climate change – have seen some of their worst fears realized over the past two years. Beginning with the women’s march in January 2017, large numbers of people have been mobilized against Trumpism – and yet, there is still a feeling of powerlessness and despair.
Although resisting Trump seems “irresistible”, the pushing against seems to make him bigger and more powerful, as he and his ilk feed upon even the most negative publicity. The question is, how do we turn this rightful concern into generative action TOWARDS the future we want, and not just away from what we don’t want? How do we make a positive, healthy, helpful contribution to our world in these times of crisis, danger, and chaos?
Our guest this week Stephanie James, a therapist who has helped countless individuals heal from their personal trauma, has some exciting ideas for how we can continue to heal our personal issues … AND … use those insights and practices to shift “powerless and reactive” to “powerful and proactive”. That way, instead of buying into the fear-based narratives that put us in our “reptile brain”, feed the love-based ones that put us in the neo-cortex so we can be more creative, more present in our own lives, and consequently more helpful to others.

Ellen Brown – Banks For People Is NOT An Oxymoron!

Interview with Ellen Brown, Author of “Banking On the People: Democratizing Money In the Digital Age”

Economics, and particularly the banking industry and monetary policy seems to be a mysterious black box to most people – our guest this week, Ellen Brown, characterizes it as a “sausage factory.” She is obviously referring to the quote attributed to Otto von Bismarck: “Laws are like sausages. You should never see them made.”
In other words, if we actually understood how and why banks do what they do, and how monetary policy is made – we’d never “swallow it”. Ellen Brown, author of the classic “Web of Debt,” a follow up book, “The Public Bank Solution”, and her latest in the trilogy, “Banking On the People: Democratizing Money In the Digital Age”, sprays the issue with “demystifier” and offers thoughtful, breakthrough solutions that will shift financial power and wellbeing from Wall Street to Main Street.
When I traveled to Washington, D.C. a week or two after the 2008 election, there was literally dancing in the streets. The mood felt like the liberation of Paris or the fall of the Berlin Wall.
But a lad and a lack. For many complex reasons, Obama bailed out Wall Street but not Main Street, and in the past decade we’ve come to recognize that the financial institutions that were “too big to fail” were not too big to fail the American people. As a result, the American middle class seems to have gone the way of the typewriter and slide rule, as the gap between rich and poor actually grew during the Obama administration. Bank loans for new businesses have been replaced with credit card debt that has further impoverished local enterprise, while the mega-banks continue to make mega-profits.
This week’s guest Ellen Brown is the founder of the Public Banking Institute and the author of a dozen books and hundreds of articles. She developed her research skills as an attorney practicing civil litigation in Los Angeles. In the best-selling “Web of Debt”, she turned those skills to an analysis of the Federal Reserve and “the money trust,” showing how this private cartel has usurped the power to create money from the people themselves and how we the people can get it back.
She developed an interest in the developing world and its problems while living abroad for eleven years in Kenya, Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua. She returned to practicing law when she was asked to join the legal team of a popular Tijuana healer with an innovative cancer therapy, who was targeted by the chemotherapy industry in the 1990s. That experience produced her book “Forbidden Medicine”, which traces the suppression of natural health treatments to the same corrupting influences that have captured the money system. She also co-authored the bestselling “Nature’s Pharmacy”, which has sold 285,000 copies.
Today most of our money is created, not by governments, but by banks when they make loans. “Banking On the People” takes the reader step by step through the sausage factory of modern money creation, explores improvements made possible by advances in digital technology, and proposes upgrades that could transform our outmoded nineteenth century system into one that is democratic, sustainable, and serves the needs of the twenty-first century.

Connie Baxter Marlow and Andrew Cameron – Revising Revisionist History

Interview with Connie Baxter Marlow and Andrew Cameron Bailey, Researchers and Makers of the Film “Seeds of Freedom”

My favorite pleasantly provocative and curiosity-inducing question is … “Did you know?”
Did you know … that there were fifty-four years of peace and friendship between the Mayflower Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Indians in Plymouth Colony between 1621 and 1675?
You didn’t? Neither did I until I met this week’s guests Connie Baxter Marlow and Andrew Cameron Bailey some years ago, and they told me the inspiring story of how visionary leaders of two radically different cultures met and worked together to maintain an inter-cultural exchange that became what Bailey and Marlow call the “First Great Synthesis” between Europeans and American Indians. While many – including my own book Spontaneous Evolution credit the Iroquois Nation with the ideals and structures of governance that inspired our Constitution – Marlow and Cameron offer compelling evidence that many of these “seeds of freedom” came from the Pilgrims themselves.
Connie Baxter Marlow is a descendant of Mayflower Pilgrims John Alden and Priscilla Mullins, known as America’s First Couple, made famous by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s poem. Her great-great-grandfather James Phinney Baxter, a pre-eminent historian of early New England, was President of the New England Historical Genealogical Society for 20 years. Connie brings a unique perspective to her ancestors’ dreams for humanity, in that she has spent 30 years in close association with visionary Native American elders throughout the United States and Mexico, and has been creating forums for them to share their understanding of the nature of the Universe for over 20 years.
Andrew Cameron Bailey calls himself a “latter-day pilgrim.” He sailed across the Atlantic and arrived in America on Thanksgiving Day, 1969. He was born in England and grew up in South Africa amongst the Zulus, holds degrees in science, English and social anthropology, and was a chemistry professor before emigrating to the United States. After meeting Connie in 2003 he became disturbed at the level of misinformation in the American psyche surrounding the settling of New England, and the ongoing deprecation and denigration of the Pilgrims and the Puritans in present-day America. Andrew is the author of the 21st Century historical mystery novel/screenplay “The Mayflower Revelations,” that sets the historical record straight in an entertaining, enlightening and inspiring way.
