This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely at people who are living in the role of the Dictator. A person who thinks they have the right to control how others must think, feel, and behave. A person who has come to know themselves as greater than others by virtue of their intellect, talent, money, or social standing. A person who is convinced of their superiority entitling them to be an unquestioned influence on others. Often, becoming extremely angered by those who question them and who are seen as seeking to reduce their power and control. This can be a family member or “friend” who acts abusively towards others and has difficulty recognizing their mistreatment of them, when it is so clearly able to be seen.

During this show, I’ll be drawing upon my book The Two Voices Within to look at the impact of higher ego power on the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of those living in the role of the Dictator. I’ll be looking at the “voice” of ego and the messages the Dictator is experiencing and working with due to the mixture of their higher ego power energy and their mind. Many of them, the Dictator is unaware of, but still exerting a powerful impact on their life and unfortunately others. I’ll also be looking at what their ego energy is doing to block the Dictator from hearing the voice of spirit which is rooted in their Divinity. An inability to recognize the Love, Life, and Energy—God Is, within their being, due to the great distance being created by their ego energy. When the Dictator is able to “hear” the truth contained within each of these voices, the door to transformation can open, and the days of living in the role of Dictator can be ended.

We are accustomed to letting ego try to make things happen. And it has developed the habit of pushing and controlling.

It no longer needs to try to force things. And this opens you to receive many gifts.

You receive peace and you trust things will work out. You become intentional yet allowing.

Then you can direct your energy into getting ready for manifestation instead of controlling. And you become receptive to Divine timing.

We have been taught that Divine timing happens in the Universe’s timeframe. But Divine timing actually occurs when we become ready.

We can spend so much time trying to line everything up, that we aren’t preparing ourselves for what we most desire. And we aren’t making space for it in our lives.

But when we do prepare ourselves, watch out! Because when we’re ready and we’ve created space, the Universe will respond. And then we receive the gifts that Source has lined up for us.
