Is there a connection between UFO/ET contact experiences and higher consciousness? Does the contact experience also coincide with or open the contactee to other paranormal manifestations including out of body experiences, viewing disembodied spirits, psychic abilities, and remote viewing? What do these experiences tell us about the nature of consciousness?

My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Rey Hernandez, had no interest in these areas until a personal experience in 2012. A former professor at the New School for Social Research and The City University of New York, Rey’s experiences lead him to be a co-founder of The Edgar Mitchell Free Foundation. That organization conducted a five-year comprehensive academic research program, resulting in the publication of an 820-page book, Beyond UFOs: The Science of Consciousness & Contact with Non Human Intelligence. Rey is currently the Director of the Consciousness and Contact Research Institute, CCRI, furthering the study of the “Contact Modalities.” Their website is Experiencer.org, and he joins me this week to share this work and their forthcoming 4-volume book and full feature science documentary, A Greater Reality: The New Paradigm of Non-Local Consciousness, the Paranormal, and the Contact Modalities.

This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely at people who are living in the role of the Victim. A person who is entrapped in the notion that life has it in for them and they are powerless to do anything about it. A person who often points to a series of large and small misfortunes as documentation of their victimhood. A person experiencing the disproportionate sense that bad things happen far more often to them than to others. Often failing to realize the problem isn’t the problem, but rather their helpless reaction to the problem that keeps them in the role of victim. This is someone who can be a family member or friend who often complains about the unfairness of life. And, their lack of ability to do anything about it.

During this show, I’ll be drawing upon my book The Two Voices Within to look at the impact of lower ego power on the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of those living in the role of Victim. I’ll be looking at the “voice” of ego and the messages the Victim is experiencing and working with due to the mixture of their lower ego power energy and their mind. Many of them, the Victim is unaware of, but still exerting a powerful impact on their life and unfortunately others. I’ll also be looking at what their ego energy is doing to block the Victim from hearing the voice of spirit which is rooted in their Divinity. An inability to recognize the Love, Life, and Energy—God Is, within their being, due to the great distance being created by their ego energy. When the Victim is able to “hear” the truth contained within each of these voices, the door to transformation can open, and the days of living in the role of Victim can be ended.
